Description

The mountune V-band Downpipe / Sports Cat has been engineered to reduce exhaust back-pressure for mk3 Focus RS fitted with larger frame turbochargers that require a v-band for installation.

Crafted from 304 grade Stainless steel and TIG welded throughout, the mountune sports cat v-band downpipe features a large diameter 5” motorsport-type, 200-cell count metal substrate honeycomb catalyst and ensures effective, ultra high-flow performance in extreme environments.

Additionally, robust OE-type mounting brackets and hangers are utilised to maintain perfect alignment and OE-like fitment. Also incorporated is an 8” stainless steel flex section to help absorb shock and prevent OE hanger failure and an additional HEGO boss is included for those wishing to run an external wide-band lambda gauge, or that require a mounting point to monitor EGT.

Supplied with an adaptor sleeve to make it fully compatible with the mountune cat-back exhaust and any third-party option that retains the OE break point.

Revised engine calibration will be required for optimal performance and may emit the EML without it.
