K1 Technologies produces “RACEREADY” ™ rods and cranks at very affordable prices. Their connecting rods and crankshafts are a cut above the average imported rod.

They are made to their designs and are held to some of the tightest accepted tolerances in the racing industry. More attention is shown to finish work than comparable products. A wide variety of sizes and applications are available, from the Sport Compact sizes through Small Block and Big Block Chevy and Mopar, including some custom and specialty sizes.

Their unique design, which is original to the K1 Technologies line of connecting rods, saves weight without sacrificing strength. K1 use ARP bolts exclusively.

Connecting Rods (Conrods)
Forged 4340 Steel I Beam connecting rods. Shot peened for improved fatigue life. Sizes held to +/- .0001” , finish honed in the USA. Bronze wrist pin bushings. Weight matched +/- 1 gram on each end. Exclusively using ARP fasteners.

Billet 4340 Steel H Beam connecting rods. Closely monitored material mechanical properties for optimum performance. Designed and finish honed in the USA. Sizes held to some of the tightest tolerances in the industry, +/- .0001” and +/- 1 gram per end. Shot peened for improved fatigue life. Bronze wrist pin bushings. Exclusively using ARP 2000 fasteners.

Valve Pocket designs that allow maximum flow around valve, also allowing oversized valves and high lift cams to be utilized.
Piston Crown shapes designed to promote maximum Intake Charge efficiency through scavenging mixture “Cross Flow” during intake and exhaust valve overlap. More fuel and air equals more horsepower!
Pistons designed to optimize squish or quench during compression combustion cycle event, resulting in resistance to detonation and pre-ignition. The end product is longer engine life and increased horsepower potential.
Complex Piston skirt profiles that reduce power robbing friction, yet promote stability in bore for optimum ring seal. Wiseco has added skirt coatings to the long list of standard features on our stocked Sport Compact pistons!
Precision machined ring grooves with proper orifice/accumulator volume using calculated groove root diameters and axial widths, featuring excellent surface finish and flatness providing maximum ring seal and minimizes blow-by and oil consumption.
World class forging facility that utilizes the latest technologies featuring complex forged shapes, advanced materials, and featured aligned grain flow technology.
For naturally aspirated, oval track and light duty use, Wiseco use 4032 alloy, which has a high silicone content (13%).

For turbo, drag, nitrous, heavy duty use, Wiseco use 2618 alloy, which as a low silicone content (0.25%).
