Ford Focus RS Mk2 and Focus ST Cosworth Pistons

Manufactured by Cosworth for the highly tuneable Focus Rsmk2 5cylinder Turbo engine.

These pistons are intended to enhance and compliment any specification of build from mild to wild!

Cosworth have used their patented F1 technology in the construction of these pistons

and technical design features include :

4032 High tensile Aluminum forgings

Valve pocket cut for high lift cams

Cosworth Patented Anti Detonation grooves

Accumulator grooves

Xylan Anti friction skirt coating (Cosworth Only)

Bright polished crown to reduce carbon build up (Cosworth Only)

Smooth blended barrel skirt form (Both)

Compression ratio 8.5:1 *

Pistons have been designed with 21mm

gudgeon pins. Ideal for maximum

performance with out sacrificing strength.

RS Mk2 customers will need to either

rebush their OE rods, or use an aftermarket

steel rod (also available from SCC).

Focus ST customers can use OE rods without issue.

* Focus RS Mk2 engines have an OE comp ratio of 8.5:1. Focus ST engines have an

OE comp ratio of 9.0:1. This piston gives 8.5:1 on both engine types.
